Code of Ethics

This Code of Ethics explains how I work, what my clients and readers can expect, and the standards I hold myself to. It's here to protect both of us and keep the space respectful, useful, and kind.

1. Core Principles

  • Respect. I treat every client with dignity, kindness, and curiosity.

  • Integrity. I give honest, good-faith interpretations without exaggeration or false promise.

  • Client Autonomy. You are the decision maker. Readings support reflection. You choose your action.

  • Do No Harm. I avoid fear-based messaging and refuse services that feel exploitative or unsafe.

  • Confidentiality. Private sessions remain private except where disclosure is legally required or necessary to prevent serious harm.

  • Inclusivity. All Genders, orientations, cultures, faiths, and backgrounds are welcome. No discrimination.

2. Scope of Service

  • Astrology. I interpret charts symbolically to explore themes, timing, and potentials. Astrology is not deterministic.

  • Tarot. I read cards for insight and perspective, not fixed predictions.

  • What I Do Not Provide. I do not offer medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. I do not diagnose, prescribe, or guarantee outcomes. When appropriate, I will suggest you consult a licensed professional.

3. Informed Consent ****

Before we begin, I will make sure you understand:

  • What the session covers, how long it runs, and the fee.

  • What information I need, like birth data for astrology.

  • That insights are interpretive and may not be exact or predictive.

  • Your right to paude, skip topics, or end the session at any time.

Booking a session means you consent to this framework.

4. Accuracy, Honesty, and Limits

  • No Absolute Claims. I avoid language that implies certainty about the future or other people's private choices.

  • Plain Language. I aim for clarity over jargon. If something is speculative, I say so.

  • Data Limits. If your birth time is unknown, I'll explain how that affects precision and adjust methods accordingly.

  • When I Don't Know. I will say, "I'm not sure" rather than stretch an interpretation.

5. Client Well Being and Safety

  • Mental Health and Crisis. If you disclose intent to harm yourself or others, I may need to contact appropriate support. I am not an emergency service.

  • Sensitive Topics. We move at your pace. You can decline any question.

6. Confidentiality and Data

  • Session Privacy. Notes and recordings, when made, are stored securely.

  • Your Control. You can request deletion of session notes and recordings I control unless retention is required by law.

  • Public Content. Questions submitted to the public "Ask Me" blog are edited for privacy and tone. Do not include details you wouldn't want posted.

7. Fees, Scheduling, and Cancellations

  • Transparent Pricing. Fees, packages, and session lengths are stated in advance.

  • Rescheduling. I'll do my best to accommodate changes with reasonable notice.

  • No Outcome-based Refunds. Payment is for my time and professional effort, not a guaranteed result. If I must cancel, you may choose a reschedule or a refund of the unused session fee.

8. Conflicts of Interest and Boundaries

  • No Exploitation. I do not use client information for personal gain.

  • Gifts and Favours. If accepting a gift could influence my neutrality, I will decline.

  • Dual Roles. I avoid overlapping relationships that could blur boundaries or create pressure.

9. Cultural and Spiritual Respect

  • Credit and Care. I acknowledge diverse lineages in astrology and tarot and avoid appropriation or misrepresentation.

  • Your Beliefs. I adapt language to respect your worldview. You never need to adopt mine.

10. Professional Development

  • Continued Learning. I maintain and grow my skills through study and practice.

  • Ethical Review. I periodically review this Code and update it as standards evolve.

11. Entertainment and Legal Notice

  • Entertainment and Informational Purposes. Services and content are for reflection and personal growth.

  • No Liability for Outcomes. You are responsible for your choices and actions. See the site's Terms and Conditions for complete disclaimers and limitations of my ability.

12. Concerns, Complaints, and Feedback

  • Talk to Me. If something feels off, tell me directly so I can address it.

  • Resolution Process. I aim to respond within a reasonable time, propose a path forward, and if needed, refer or refund the unused portion of a session at my discretion.

  • Documentation. I keep a brief record of complaints and resolutions to improve practice.

13. Acceptance

  • Submitting a question, booking, or continuing with services means you have read and accept this Code of Ethics. If you have questions, please ask before we begin. Clarity first, always.
